Chandler is 5!

I have lost track of how many times we celebrated Chandler's birthday. He spent the week before his birthday in McMinnville with David's parents and sister. They had a family party for him there. He came home loaded with presents. The Sunday before his birthday we had a family party for him. He had a "Tractor Tipping" Cars cake, made by his mother. On his actual birthday he took cupcakes to his preschool class. And finally today he had a joint birthday party with his cousin ,Ethan, at McDonald's.

The party at McDonald's

This is Chandler's "girlfriend", Hannah. He had to hug her after she bestowed upon him the best gift ever, a Transformer.

Callie was so excited about Chandler's birthday that she dumped her chocolate milk in her lap.

Chandler's Christmas Program

Chandler's preschool had a Christmas program in December, where they entertained us with Christmas classics, such as "Hurry Little Donkey" and "We Have Traveled Through the Lonely Night." We hadn't heard of them either. They sang some songs we knew too. We were a little nervous going in, as Chandler has not been the biggest singer. To our surprise, he sang his heart out. We were so proud!

Happy 2008!

Hello all! 2008 is ushering in an new era for the Sparkman Family. We are venturing into the wondferul world of blogging. I've been reading my sisters-in-law's for a while now and really enjoyed them. But my husband is worried about all the weirdos out there reading about us. So if you're a weirdo, move on! This isn't the site for you! Anyway, a lot of our family lives out of town, so we figured this would help us keep in touch a little better.
