Blog Slacker

Yes, I know I am a blog slacker. Unfortunately, my camera's battery is dead and I can't find the cord to recharge it. And these posts don't seem to be the same without pictures. I am sad to say that due to the loss of said camera, readers of this blog are missing out on the following:

The Joys of Remodeling All Your Bathrooms at Once
The Joys of Potty Training (a/k/a The Potty Princess Party)
The Joys of Girls Night Out (You can catch this one on Jewly's blog. I don't recommend chugging Red Bull, if you ever intend to sleep again.)
The Joys of Joining the Gym
The Joys of Finishing Your First Semester of Graduate School (Go Dave!)

I hope to soon be experiencing:
The Joys of Finally Getting Unpacked and Living in a World Free of Boxes, Clutter, and General Chaos

I am hoping with the above referenced joy, I will locate the camera charger and our blog readers will once again be able to enjoy the updates of our day to day living. Until then, I remain a blog slacker.

Giddy Up!

The petting zoo visited Callie's preschool on Wednesday. On the way there I asked Callie what she would like to do first. She said, "I ride the zebra." I told her I didn't think that the zebras would able to come. She said, " That's okay. I ride the elephant." Poor girl, I thought she was in for some disappointment. It wasn't the case. Her daddy was able to come and play with her and the animals. There were no zebras or elephants in sight, but she did get to ride a pony and pet a goat. The chickens were too scary. She definitely prefers them as McNuggets. Good thing her Daddy took her to McDonald's afterward.

Go Tigers :(

NCAA BASKETBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

KANSAS 75

MEMPHIS 68

Sob, sob, sniffle, sniffle. My heart is broken. On a purely superficial level, of course. What a ride this season has been. 38 and 2. The most winning season in basketball history ends with a loss. And wouldn't you know it, those darn free throws really did cost us the game. All I've got to say is , "CDR, ROSE, ONE MORE YEAR!!! PLEASE??!!!!"

Here are some pictures from happier times:
